What area of Florida experiences the fewest or least severe hurricanes?

I realize that all of Florida experiences hurricanes, but I'm trying to figure out which area has the fewest or the least severe hurricanes. I'm considering moving to Florida and I don't want to spend all of hurricane season evacuating. If you know of a meterological study please let me know. Thanks!
